RemotEAR, LLC has been acquired from its former parent company, Otovation. Founded in 2011, RemotEAR is a market leader in providing technology and implementation services for tele-diagnostics in the hearing care industy. Based on a family of patents licensed from East Carolina University, the RemotEAR technology and methods implement a best practices model for delivery of remote hearing diagnostic and patient counseling services.

The RemotEAR technology has been implemented in both public and private enterprise settings, and is the first and only technology to universally adapt hearing diagnostic products such as audiometry, tympanomety and OAE instruments for remote assessment.
